We've been hearing some "popping" sounds coming from our Attic for awhile...Tim discovered that it came from our water heaters. After some research, he learned that you're supposed to drain/clean your water heaters at least twice a year. Hmmm...we've NEVER done it...and doubt the previous renters/owners did either.
After cleaning out the water heaters, Tim and Dad worked on adding some plywood to the attic, giving us more walking/storage space. Mom and Dad later went back up to install cardboard to keep the insulation in place.
Tim decided that he could drain the water heaters each weekend into an inflatable pool for Olivia to swim in. Good idea...
Dad noticed that one of the spring attachments on the attic "door" wasn't installed correctly. Prodded Tim to fix it... while removing it, Tim almost had a "Mike-and-Spring" moment.
