Grandpa called up an old Chiropractic school friend (who lives in New Orleans) and we planned a quick trip to visit!
We stopped at a restaurant in Lafayette called PreJeans that had some good southern cookin.
In New Orleans, Grandpa's friend (Tony) let us stay in his condo, took us on a tour of the city (French Market, French Quarters, etc), and gave Mom and Dad a tour of his clinic.
Other Highlights:
- Olivia got her first Popsicle from an Ice-Cream truck.
- Yummy beignets from Cafe Du Monde.
- Grandpa's birthday was on the Saturday/Sunday of our trip, so Tim cooked him (and all of us) some bacon and eggs...actually turned into breakfast in bed for him!
- Grandpa got a sliver from walking on the deck/dock without any shoes on.
- Grandpa pulled out a live crab from a crab trap. Olivia didn't like it.
- Saw some land/water tanks that I had actually seen on a TV show in Kennewick in January.
